Real Property & Water Rights
1. Surface Use Agreements:
Define and divest rights, including: compensation for easements, leases, rentals, and damages (roadways, electric lines, site locations, accidental discharges, seismic operations, water usage, etc.).
2. Right-of-Ways & Easements:
Roadways, electrical transmission lines, pipelines/flow-lines, radio towers, etc.
3. Surface Leases:
Compressor, valve set, communication, plant, refinery, truck unloading facility, monitoring and cathodic protection wells, meters, and any other off lease surface sites.
4. Encroachment Permits:
Railroad, highway, or roadway (Includes: U.S., State, County, & Private roadways), pipeline, utility, etc.
5. Seismic Operations:
Negotiate permit acquisition fees. Identify surface owner concerns, resolve disputes and conflicts between customer and surface owner.
6. Management of Customer Owned Surface Assets:
Grazing leases, surface use agreements, damage settlement agreements, leasing of water rights, noxious weed assessment and control practices, etc.
7. Acquisition & Disposition of Real Property:
Acreage, office sites/buildings, pipe yards, truck unloading facilities, etc. & the due diligence processes associated therewith.
8. Acquisition, Disposition, & Maintenance of Water Rights:
Negotiate water usage for various purposes and file and monitor Extension of Time and change of Purpose and Intent Permits.
